SleepSilk was created by a mother-daughter team who believe in the quiet luxury of well made things. With over 35 years of sewing experience, we pour care into every stitch, making each pillowcase, scrunchie and eye mask with precision and pride.
We started SleepSilk because we truly believe in the benefits of silk. Naturally smooth, it reduces friction on hair and skin and offers a gentle, breathable feel that makes rest more comfortable.
Each piece is made by hand, thoughtfully and with quality you can feel. Every item reflects our commitment to craftsmanship and to helping people experience restful nights and elevated everyday routines.

Our Silk
Heavier silk, softer nights
We use 22 momme, 100% mulberry silk, chosen for its luxurious feel and beautiful drape. Heavier than standard bedding silk, it feels fuller and more substantial. Gentle on hair and skin, it’s made for comfort you can feel every night.
22 momme
Momme measures how heavy silk fabric is. 22 momme is about 95 g per square metre. Weight is one sign of a good silk; the weave and the sewing matter too.
Mulberry silk
Spun by silkworms fed on mulberry leaves. Its long, even fibres give the cloth a smooth, fine surface.
Smooth to the touch
Hair and skin glide over the smooth surface rather than catching on it, as they can on a rougher weave.

Can I add a gift box?
Yes. Tick the gift box in your bag to add it for £4.99. It is one box per order, finished with a mocha ribbon pull.
What is 22 momme mulberry silk?
Momme is a measure of how heavy silk fabric is: one momme is about 4.3 g per square metre, so 22 momme is about 95 g. Mulberry silk comes from silkworms fed on mulberry leaves; its long, even fibres give a smooth, fine surface.
How do I care for it?
Hand wash in cool water with a gentle, pH-neutral detergent, or use a delicate cycle inside a wash bag. Dry flat, out of direct sun. Iron on a low setting if needed.
Where is it made?
Every piece is made by hand in the UK, as it has been since SleepSilk began in 2020.

We would love to hear from you
A question about an order, a colour or a gift? Send us a note and we will reply by email.
Every piece is made and packed by hand in the UK, then sent with tracking.
Where we deliver
We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom. If you would like an order sent abroad, email us at and we will see what we can do.
Cost
Postage and packaging is £2.95 per order, however many pieces you buy. Delivery is free when your pieces add up to £50.00 or more at their full price, before any offer. The gift box is not counted towards this. The SleepSilk gift box is £4.99 extra and can be added in your bag.
How long it takes
We send orders within 1 to 3 working days. Delivery then usually takes 2 to 3 working days with Royal Mail. Working days are Monday to Friday, not including bank holidays.
You will get an email when you order, and another with your tracking number when your parcel is on its way.
If something goes wrong
If your parcel has not arrived within 10 working days of being sent, or arrives damaged, email us at with your order number and we will put it right.
Returns & Refunds
If something is not right, we want to know. Here is how returns work.
Changing your mind
You can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive it. Tell us by email at with your order number, then send the pieces back within 14 days of telling us.
Because our pillowcases, eye masks and scrunchies are worn against your skin and hair, please do not wash or use them while you decide. Return them unused, with any labels, in their original packaging. If an item comes back used or damaged, we may reduce your refund to reflect that.
Sending it back
Email us first and we will send you the return address. Please use a tracked service and keep your proof of postage. Unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong thing, return postage is paid by you.
Your refund
We refund within 14 days of receiving your return, or of you showing us proof that you sent it, whichever is sooner. The refund goes back to the card or account you paid with. If you return your whole order, we also refund the original postage.
Faulty or wrong items
If something arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, email us with a photo. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you can reject faulty goods for a full refund within 30 days of delivery, and after that you are entitled to a repair or replacement. We pay the return postage for faulty items. None of this affects your legal rights.
Exchanges
For a different colour or size, return the original for a refund and place a new order, so you get the new piece as quickly as possible.
Terms of Sale
These terms apply when you buy from this website. Please read them before you order.
1. About us
This shop is run by SleepSilk, , . You can contact us at .
2. Our products
Each piece is handmade, so small differences in stitching and finish are part of its character. We show colours as accurately as we can, but your screen may show them slightly differently.

When you pay, we email you an order confirmation. Our contract with you starts when we send that email. If we cannot supply something you ordered, for example because it has sold out or was shown at the wrong price, we will tell you and refund you in full.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling. Postage and packaging is shown in your bag and at checkout before you pay. Payments are taken securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
From time to time we run offers. Each one shows its end date, applies to orders paid for by the end of that day (UK time), and cannot be added to an order afterwards.
5. Delivery
We deliver to UK addresses. Timings and costs are on our Delivery page. The pieces are yours, and your responsibility, once they are delivered to the address you gave.
6. Cancelling and returns

7. Faulty items
Your pieces should be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If they are not, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, explained on our Returns & Refunds page. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.
8. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses. We do not limit our responsibility where it would be unlawful to do so.
9. Events outside our control
If something outside our control, such as a postal strike, delays your order, we will tell you as soon as we can and do what we can to reduce the delay. If it goes on too long, you can cancel for a full refund.
10. The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts there.
